How to manage human resources in a project

People are the central figure in any project. You cannot work without a set of people who are capable of doing a specific part of a project. Human resource is a term devised for these people working in a project, company, or organization. It is important to manage the human resource in a project effectively; otherwise, the whole project will be considered a failure. Power is one of the theories to manage people in a project. It is perceived as a strategy to influence people to do what you want them to do. Power is often viewed in a negative context but there are types of power that a person can execute depending on the situation.

Coercive power deals with the implication of threats, penalties, and punishment for the wrong attitude at the workplace.

Expert power:

Expert power is based on the knowledge and expertise that drives people to change their behavior.

Reward power:
