American Horror Story has been on the air for nine seasons, with all of them being spectacular, well-received, and unique in their own right, and now it’s time for AHS Season 10. While it is not without flaws, the show captures authentic campy horror in its purest form. This show is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Aside from the horror parts of the play, the most crucial aspect is how it portrays and delivers essential lessons to the viewers.

Ryan Murphy’s horrific anthology series American Horror Story brought us to creepy locales, sent us to prison, signed us into spooky motels, and many other things. And there’s no evidence that the FX series will be ending anytime soon. Before AHS: 1984 finished in the fall of 2019, the horrific show got renewed for a tenth season. Half the appeal of this campy, terrifying series is unraveling the secret behind each new edition. Murphy recasts his characters, putting them in very different but always creepy situations. We’ve witnessed the end of the world, been initiated into a cult, and traveled to the end of the world to catch it. The time has come to twelve into a different world, having more horror and creeps in AHS Season 10. Let’s hear about it!

AHS Season 10 Release date

Double Feature of AHS season 10 will be released on Wednesday, August 25th, according to FX. As is customary, episodes will air weekly on FX, with the next day’s episodes accessible to stream on Hulu. Viewers who want to consume the entire season on Netflix will have to wait a little longer. AHS season 10 is unlikely to be available on the streaming service until at least fall 2022, as 1984 was released exactly a year after the season finale aired (on November 13, 2020).

AHS Season 10 Cast

Ryan Murphy announced officially which cast members will appear in AHS season 10 in an Instagram post.

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and Lily Rabe, all of whom appeared in previous seasons of American Horror Story, will reprise their roles in the AHS season 10. Noteworthy actors are Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, and Angelica Ross.

The most surprising addition among the newcomers is Macaulay Culkin, who rose to fame as the boy from Home Alone. In an interview, Murphy explained his casting decision: “I’ve always admired Macaulay Culkin’s work; I’ve admired everything he’s done, from his work in Home Alone to his older, more recent work. He hasn’t worked in a long time.” The cast of AHS Double Feature has received some devastating news. In an interview, Emmy winner Jessica Lange ruled out a return to the show. “I don’t think I’d want to construct a character from the ground up,” she remarked.

AHS Season 10 Plot

In AHS season 10, Part of the new season takes place in Provincetown, Massachusetts, where sand and sea collide. Meanwhile, promo photos for the season blend extraterrestrial designs straight out of a 1950s sci-fi film with sea monsters, implying that these are the season’s two horror monsters. Promo photos from the set also reveal that these sea creatures are inspired by legendary cinema monsters such as Max Schreck’s Nosferatu, implying that the show may be about vampires.

According to Ryan Murphy, AHS season 10 will be dubbed Double Feature and will present two unique storylines, one set by the sea and the other by the sand. According to the most current trailer, AHS season 10: Double Feature unleashes “a collision of fear like you’ve never seen.” In addition, this trailer has provided us with some fresh information on the theme, including a sneak peek at the monsters who will soon be keeping us awake at night.

Season ten will be terrorized by grey aliens and vampires and split into two halves – the ocean-themed ‘Red Tide’ and the Area 51-inspired ‘Death Valley.’Fans have been yearning for AHS to bring back the aliens from season two for several years.

Kit Walker was abducted by aliens at the end of Asylum, leaving behind two children with extraterrestrial DNA. We know they grew up to be highly successful, but aside from a few stray mentions to space-themed music in Apocalypse, the program has yet to explore this dangling storyline.

Season ten, on the other hand, is about to change that…

After the following was shared around with the quote: “Things are beginning to wash up on shore…”, many of us had already made wagers on that first ocean theme.

AHS Season 10 Trailer

A teaser Video gave us a sneak peek at season 10 of the show. The 35-second video, which was shared in March, revealed the season’s official title. Beyond that, the teaser doesn’t tell much. According to Murphy’s description, the season will be divided into two stories, one about the sea and one about the sand. After that, The show’s first teaser trailer was released last month. Though it didn’t contain any of the cast members, it did include the aliens and sea monster/vampires from the previous teasers and highlighted the two-sand partner and sea theme.

AHS takes on the horror genre and uses it in a way that provokes in-depth analysis and debate. I can’t help but enjoy and support this long-running series as a self-proclaimed horror FANATIC for the rest of my life. Here’s to the excruciating wait for AHS Season 10
